It is the original synthetic fleece optimized for lightweight comfort and additional warmth. When warmth is needed, it is retained, and when it isn’t, it is released. Combining with other fabrics is easily achievable. 

Thanks to its compressibility, it can be easily packed. When compressed, the garment measures only 30 cm x 15 cm x 5 cm (2.25 liters), making it exceptionally small. This allows the jacket to be readily accessible in a corner of the backpack or in the trunk of the car.

The jacket features reinforcements at exposed points such as the shoulders, neck area, and sleeves.

The ALTAIR features lightweight, breathable inserts under the arms that provide optimal comfort.

The jacket has a full-length 2-way zipper from YKK. The two-way zipper offers the wearer increased freedom of movement and is especially useful when frequently bending or squatting. Ventilation can be individually adjusted by partially opening the zipper from the bottom without exposing the upper areas.

Behind the zipper is a fabric wind flap. It serves to protect against wind and cold and make the jacket windproof. 

The collar rises high and covers the neck while the warming Polartec High Loft fabric does not chafe against the skin.

The ALTAIR is equipped with a total of four zippered chest pockets and loops inside. The pockets feature YKK zippers with corded paracord. They are easy to use, whether with or without gloves. There is also a wind flap made of fabric at the zipper of the pockets.

There is a large pocket on the left and right with a loop inside.

At chest height, right next to the main zipper of the ALTAIR, there is a Napoleon pocket on the left and right with a loop inside.

Additionally, the ALTAIR has anatomically shaped sleeves with elastic cuffs.
